How to Get the Perfect Bridal Glow

All brides want to have that special, bridal glow on their big day.  This “natural glow” can be accomplished with simple at home skin care regimen.  If you want to step it up, you can add easy, no downtime lasers to enhance your at home regimen. Let’s start with some homework:  In the morning you should wash with a gentle cleanser and then wipe face with a exfoliating pad to remove any excess oils or residue.  We recommend “Peel ME pads” from Dr. Schweiger's ME Skin Line. It contains both salicylic and glycolic acid.  Second, if you have dark spots, we recommend a skin lightener with hydroquinone to correct uneven skin tone. To finish, apply a facial sunscreen and your morning regimen is complete.  In the evening, wash with a gentle cleanser and apply a cream with a wrinkle reducer (tretinoin or retinoic acid) two –three times per week to start and gradually increase to every evening.  We recommend “TiMEless” by ME Skin with tretinoin 0.5% (prescription strength).  On the alternate evenings, you should hydrate with an anti-aging night cream with healthy antioxidants like Vitamin C. To step it up, we recommend in office laser procedures, particularly Laser Genesis.  Laser Genesis cleans and tightens the pores.  It also stimulates collagen and improves redness and broken vessels, which can be extremely beneficial for anyone with Rosacea.  Laser Genesis has no downtime, no discomfort, and can be completed in a matter of a lunch break!  We usually recommend them in a series of treatments, separated weekly or biweekly.  Not only is Laser Genesis effective and gentle on your skin, it is gentle on your wedding budget as well! Here is a Quick Recap: At home skincare should include a morning regimen of glycolic pads to exfoliate skin and a skin brightener to improve uneven skin tone.  In the evening, a wrinkle reducing cream with retinoic acid and an anti-oxidant, anti-aging  cream to hydrate.  To enhance your at home regimen, add Laser Genesis to stimulate collagen, tighten pores and minimize redness.
