Top Winter Anti-Aging Tips

The harsh cold weather can take a toll on the skin. The damaging air from indoor heaters can cause extreme dryness to our complexions. When the skin is dry it can become cracked and older looking. The key is keeping the moisture inside the skin and staying hydrated. Look for moisturizers with glycerin and ceramides. And just because it's winter doesn't mean you can skip the SPF. Sunscreen is one of the most important skin care steps all year round for fighting wrinkles. You also want to stay away from using water that's too hot in the shower or when you wash your face, as it can be extremely dehydrating to the skin. Some of our favorite cold-weather, skin-saving products: Cetaphil Restoraderm Skin Restoring Moisturizer, CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios 60 Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid, and Rosebud Salve (for lips).
